The meat from Simmental cattle is delicate in structure, has well distributed streaks of fat and a soft, buttery taste. The Simmental cattle are only kept stabled during the winter months. The remainder of the year, the cattle range along the flanks of the Alps, sometimes at altitudes of 2,000 metres! At the same time, it is a sustainable breed, because these are dual-purpose cattle breeds – they pro-duce milk and are used for their meat. Our Premium-Line burgers are produced using 100% Sim-mental beef.

In Scotland, the Black Angus cattle graze freely on grass and clover. They are then fed with grain. This special eating pattern is responsible for the ‘marbling’ of the meat and for the unique tenderness, texture and rich flavour, which contributes to the superior tenderness of the meat. This Premium-Line burger is made using 100% Black Angus beef.
